In the wake of the developing Covid-19 pandemic, we are working tirelessly to ensure that we are and remain fully capable of working and acting. In doing so, we strictly follow the advice of the local authorities at all offices and investment locations of our platform and continuously review the general situation. As part of the global Savills group, we also benefit from the experiences of our offices in Asia Pacific. For example, we take steps to continuously optimize our IT infrastructure and apply comprehensive security, hygiene and behavioral measures – with the overall goal of being able to continue to provide our usual service in the coming weeks.
We are aware that the situation is developing very quickly. At present, our offices are generally open. The majority of our employees can work from home with their usual availability. The focus is on maintaining all business processes.
Our employees are continuously informed about current developments and internal company guidelines – including meetings, events, travel and office hygiene. There are specific behavioral and hygiene measures in place to ensure the best possible protection against possible infection and spread of the infection. These include not allowing employees who have been in a risk area or who are suspected of having had contact with an infected person to enter the office. We are in close contact with our service providers and ensure that emergency plans are in place and that procedures are unaffected.
